Our Vision, Mission and Values

Our Vision:

 Our vision is to help bring about an end to discrimination based on caste, that discriminates and socially disadvantages individuals, their families and whole communities.​ This is urgently needed, as the caste system remains embedded in many people's belief and culture and is the oldest form of social stratification. The Christian Network Against Caste Discrimination view caste as the root cause of poverty, and a violation against the human rights of these ethnic groups.
 

Our Mission:

CNACD works to support, enable, and create a movement made up of effective networks and support groups, and to secure permanent and lasting equality for all those suffering from caste discrimination at home and in areas of the world where caste discrimination continues.  We seek to source areas of opportunity where those facing caste discrimination can use their voice to effect change, through education, political pressure, and economic development.

Our Values:

Our values are Christian based, but we welcome people of all and any faith and also those without a faith, who hold the same values. Our Principles are based on truth, justice, inclusion, equality and integrity and the principle of human rights for all. ​Our Values are encapsulated in Proverbs 31:9 ​“Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
